Mount Batur is an active volcano located at the center of two concentric calderas northwest of Mount Agung Bali. The southeast side of the larger 10x13 km caldera contains a caldera lake. The inner 7.5km-wide-caldera, which was formed during emplacement of Bali, has been dated back at about 23,670 to 28,500 years ago. Many travelers visit this place to enjoy the view. And the hike to its 1717m-summit will reward you an experience of visual treat like none other.
01.40 – 02.30 : pick up at your hotel
03.45 : arrive at Toyabungkah Village hiking base, introduction and briefing by our hiking guide
04.09 : start the hike for approximately one and half hour to reach the 1717m summit
06.00 : while enjoying spectacular view of the sunrise, coffee or tea will be served by our guide
07.00 : decide to straightly go back or continue the trek around the entire crater before descending
09.00 : estimated time to arrive back at Toyabungkah Village hiking base
09.20 : enjoy buffet breakfast at restaurant overlooking the volcano and lake
11.00 : drop-off transfer back to hotel
13.00 : estimated arrival time back at your hotel
