Piaynemo – Wayag Cruise

Get on board a-5D4N cruise and experience best of northern raja ampat from onboard a Phinisi. We will take you sail to the famous Piaynemo and Wayag geo-site, visit Arborek, Pasir Timbul, and see the red-paradise birds inside Sawingray jungle. And in Kawe, we will stopover to experience a close encounter with sharks. A truly surreal experience you don’t find anywhere else!

Day1

Embarkation in Sorong

Pick up at the airport and transfer to harbor to board the boat.
Sailing to Waisai for clearance.

Days 2

Waisai - Piaynemo

Sailing to Piaynemo

Walk to pass through 320 wooden steps to viewpoint atop the hill about 10 to 15 minutes. From the wooden platform, you will be fed by breathtaking view over the turquoise lagoon down the hill. We will also trek to Telaga Bintang (star-shaped lagoon) located adjacent from the viewpoint hill.

Sailing to Wayag

Days 3

Wayag

To best view the nature wonder of Wayag, we will have to hike a steep rocky hill for approximately 30 minutes. From the top, you will be rewarded a life-time experience to witness spectacular view across the geo-site of Wayag. If you are reluctant to take the hike, hopping by the lagoon is also a great option to enjoy the beach with its clear water and stunning nature foliage.
Once we leave Wayag, we will stopover at Kawe to experience a close encounter with sharks. Test your adrenaline and stand by the beach where you will be surrounded by a flock of black-tip sharks. They love to play around to expect some drifts of food from you.
Sailing to Arborek and Mansuar

Days 4

Arborek – Mansuar

Wake up early at 5am and make morning ride to Sawingray village. A short trek of approximately 30 minutes from the village jetty will take us to observation point inside jungle. We will spend our early morning here to watch the red-paradise birds. They love to play around before flying away to hunt foods during the day.
As we get back to the boat, have breakfast, and head to visit Arborek. It is an island village where beneath its jetty underwater is so stunning with schooling fishes. It is one of the best spots to enjoy snorkeling in raja ampat. You may also see locals making handicrafts, interact with villagers and walk around the village.
As we leave Arborek, we will sail back to Sorong. If we pass through during low tide, the sand bar ‘Pasir Timbul’ in front of Kri Island will appear. It is the best time to enjoy this beautiful sand bar either for swimming or snorkeling. It is a pool in the middle of ocean.

Disembarkation in Sorong

After breakfast, drop-of transfer back to airport for onward flight.
