Exotic Penida

Located at the southeastern coast of Bali, Nusa Penida is an island separated by the Badung Strait from Bali’s main island.  Together with the other two smaller islands of Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan, they belong to one district within the regency of Klungkung. Nusa Penida is hilly with highest altitude of 524 meters. It is relatively drier than the main island of Bali but is rich in exotic natural beauties. From pristine beaches, beautiful rocky coastline and crystal clear water to swim or snorkel. It is also home to one of Bali’s important Hindu temple called Dalem Ped. 

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Kelingking Beach (T-Rex Beach)
One of the most instagrammable spot in Nusa Penida. It is a cliff beach which shapes like the little finger (kelingking) for which it is locally named after. Yet as many visitors come to see this place, it gets another new popular name as T-Rex beach as it does look like a T-Rex neck. Off-shore, it has Manta Point which has long drawn enthusiasm among divers from around the globe to see mantas.
  • Angel’s Billabong
It is an end of a dead river where it meets the ocean and creates a beautiful natural pool with crystal clear water. It looks amazing to see it from a distance where the water seems to reflect multicolor. The water is calm and safe to swim or just enjoy a relaxing sit on its side-rocks.
  • Pasih Uug (Broken Beach)
A beautiful setting of rows of cliffs with a natural tunnel from where the seawater comes across in and out. It is a beautiful spot to take photos.
  • Crystal Bay Beach
An exotic beach to enjoy island hoping. Beaching, swimming or if you are underwater enthusiast, snorkeling is great here. Local snorkeling arrangement is available here with average cost USD 40 per person. It includes boat arrangement, guide and equipment. They will normally take you to two different snorkeling spots.

06.30 : pick-up at your hotel

07.30 : take a ticket in Sanur Ferry Port

08.00 : depart to Nusa Penida by fast-boat

09.00 : arrive at Nusa Penida and start touring the island by car to all highlighted spots

04.15 : back to ferry port to return to Sanur

05.00 : leaving Nusa Penida back for Sanur

05:45 : arrive at Sanur and drop-off transfer back to your hotel
